Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to book a ticket or can we just turn up?

Tickets must be purchased online in advance for our sessions. This is due to planning and also part of our safeguarding policy.

What age are the classes suitable for?

We have something for everyone!

  • Weekly Daytime Classes: These are designed for children aged 2–5 years. However, we warmly welcome home-educated children up to age 7 to join these sessions.

  • After School & Holidays: We run dedicated After School clubs for older children aged 5–8 years and Half Term workshops for our toddlers and older children aged 5–8 years. Please take a look here to see what is currently scheduled.

Do I need to stay with my child?

Yes, our weekly daytime sessions are parent-and-child classes. It’s a wonderful opportunity for you to bond with your little one, help them with the tricky bits, and celebrate their creations! If your child is over 6 years and has been with us before, then they can be dropped off and picked up from our session if you wish, please let Hayley know if you intend to do this.

Are you SEN inclusive?

Absolutely! When booking, parents are able to disclose their child's support needs and we will do everything we can to accommodate for this. Classes are small and inclusive and we work hard to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all children.

What should my child wear?

While we aren’t a "messy play" class, we do use paint, glue, and plenty of glitter. We use washable materials wherever possible, but I always recommend dressing your child in clothes you don’t mind getting a little bit messy as we do not supply aprons (though you are welcome to bring your own)

Can I bring a younger sibling?

Absolutely. We know how hard it is to juggle multiple children at once! Many people bring babies along to our session. Younger siblings in arms/buggies are welcome to come along for free. If they are old enough to want to join in with the session (18 months +) please purchase a sibling ticket. There is plenty of space for buggies in both our venues.

Do I need to bring anything else?

Just yourselves! We provide all the art supplies, and materials needed for the session.

Are children allowed food & drink?

Yes, we are very relaxed and allow children to eat & drink during the session if needed, though we must ask that all snacks are strictly nut-free due to our allergen policy.
